The Best Places to take Photos with the Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is the most famous place to take photos in Paris! With that being said, the size of the beautiful Iron Lady allows for tourists and locals alike to capture many different photos from very different areas within the city. The Eiffel Tower was originally built from 1887 to 1889 to be the Entrance to the 1889 World's Fair. Since then, the Eiffel Tower has become and iconic symbol for France bringing people from all over the world just to see her. Being a tourist myself it was my goal to get as many pictures with the Eiffel Tower in as many different locations as possible within my short stay in Paris. Unfortunately, I did not get to as many places as I had hoped to. With that being said, I still got to see lots of great places and I would like to share with you the photos spots I found to be the best during my stay. I highly recommend checking out other blogs to find more iconic spots.

Pont de Bir Hakeim

The bridge, Pont de Bir Hakeim, is one of the most stunning bridges in Paris. That is why it is one of the best places to capture your photo with the Eiffel Tower.

Av. de Suffren and Rue Jean Rey

At this intersection you will find a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower perfect for instagramable photos.

Avenue de New York

Avenue de New York is a public road that onlooks the River Sine with the beautiful Eiffel Tower right behind it. Here you will usually find many people sitting on the wall to capture their photos with the Iron Lady.

Trocadero

At Trocadero you will find many different areas that give you iconic photo opportunities. unfortunately for me, the gardens were closed due to construction. The Esplanade du Trocadero is a large square where the Eiffel Tower can be see perfectly in the distance. The other famous spots is The Stairs of Trocadero which is just beneath the square. However, if you are like me, you have seen all these famous photos at the stairs and you will be sorely disappointed to find out that they added a pointed tip to the stairs to prevent people from sitting and laying on them (sad face). However, I improvised and just a few feet below there are some smaller steps where you can still attempt the famous photos.

Bonus Spot NOT with the Eiffel Tower

Palace of Versailles Gardens

Okay, Okay. This one is not with the Eiffel tower, but you will get fantastic photos here. If you are visiting Paris, the Palace of Versailles is a must see. The gardens are huge and offer some great areas for a nice photoshoot. We went in the winter, so lots of dead foliage, but I can imagine the springtime will bring even more captivating areas for photos.
